Congratulations to Charlotte Messer who was awarded the 2009 Yidl Korman Prize*

The members of the Paris Yiddish Centre are happy with this distinction, awarded to the director of the Troïm-Teater troupe, who offered her talent in the service of Yiddish theatre.

The Yidl Korman Prize will be handed over to Charlotte on Wednesday, November 11 at 3:00pm at the Farband,  at 5 rue des Messageries, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

* The Yidl Korman Prize is awarded, since 1986, for activities in favor of the Yiddish language and the Yiddish culture in all domains: art, literature, sculpture, education, music, history, etc...

Gilles Rozier, director of the Medem Library, will participate in the round-table discussion at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme on Sunday, November 15 at 6:00pm  on the theme "The subjective Tel-Aviv ".
