Produced in connection with the exhibition "La Ruche - The City of Artists 1902-2009" which took place early 2009 in Evian, this work recalls this "village" in which have lived several hundreds of artists.  The history and the present reality of the La Ruche, still at the tip of avant-garde, is one of most astonishing chapters of the Montparnasse legend. Sylvie Buisson is a specialist of the history of Montparnasse and of Montmartre. She was the acting curator of at the Montparnasse Museum and presently is member of its Board. She will come to talk to us about her book ...and we might have the luck to meet some unexpected guests.
