Congratulations

to Natalia Krynicka, chief librarian at the Medem Library, who was awarded with unanimous distinction her PHD on literature. The theme of her thesis was "Cultural relations between Jews and Poles in the light of literary translations between years 1885 and 1939."

Recorded songs. Saturday October 17 at 3pm A legendary figure of the Ukrainian Hassidism, the "Rebe" of Berditchev, who composed many Yiddish songs, is also a hero of literature.
